Wo immer man ein kleines bisschen Platz auf der Straße findet, muss man sehr vorsichtig sein. Mit Sicherheit haben mehrere Bikefahrer ihn schon im Auge. Diese Fahrer sind oft ohne Helm unterwegs, haben Frauen im Damensitz hinter sich und ab und an noch kleine Kinder auf dem Schoß.
Es sieht alles sehr gefährlich aus. Und man kann nur hoffen, dass nichts passiert. Aber der mutige, oder sollte ich sagen halsbrecherisch leichtsinnige, Fahrstil hat mir schon ein paar mal richtig Angst gemacht.

This scene shows one of the most popular vehicles in the City. A bike. And seen that way it is also a means of mass transportation. A whole family can fit on one bike. One helmet is sufficient for the driver. The women in the back and the children on the lap are mostly unprotected.
This is a really unbearable observation for a security-loving German. Regulations are there and the police is holding it up. But the sheer mass of drivers renders this attempt a little bit hopeless.
