Es ist ganz schön zu sehen, wie viele Zierpflanzen hier in Indien durchaus auch wild wachsen. Es wird mir deutlich, dass ein großer Teil der Exotik unserer heimischen Gärten von hier stammt. Tagetes, die Studentenblume und Wandelröschen oder wie im Bild die Canna indica.

It is so surprising to see the wonderful flowers here in India. And I believe they contribute greatly in the german gardens as well. Like spices and silk, also flowers, seeds and plants have been items for trading.
