Zu Festen, wie dieser Hochzeit, werden sie aufwendig dekoriert schon am Anfang der Straße platziert. Das Begrüßen und die Gastfreundlichkeit sind hier in einer ganz anderen Dimension dargestellt, als wir es in Deutschland kennen. Gastgeber sein, bedeutet auf alles zu verzichten um den Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Es bedeutet alle Kosten zu tragen, wenn man essen geht. Es bedeutet, Geschenke zu kaufen für die Gäste, die man zu sich zum Essen eingeladen hat.

Doors, gates and entries are a very obvious symbol in India for the enormous and stunning hospitality. Being a host means a great responsibility for the well-being of your guest. It means to give everything you have, if need be. It means you wait until your guests are finished before you eat. It means that you spend a lot of money. It means that you even buy gifts for the people you invite. This picture is a sign for a wedding. And the entrance is actually protruded until the beginning of the street. You can also find dispatched entrances in front of shops, where the symbolise the good service and attentive care the customer is about to face.
